46.5 HOURS OF EXTRA TIME!

There's a problem with walking around wearing a shirt that has a big YES on it. When an Australian guy called Tarran approaches you and asks if you want to be involved in what might turn out to be the world's longest ever five-a-side football match, what do you say?

Two solid days of non-stop sport, plus a massive amount of sleep deprivation? I once stayed awake for 72 hours and it wasn't that much fun. Well, a little bit.

Oh, okay then.

In August 2013 we did it. 46.5 hours on the trot, each player running the equivalent of two marathons. It was the longest continuous game of 5-a-side to date. The final score was 870 to 517 goals, quite ridiculous! But worth it, because we raised over £8000 for the charity Inspiring Futures Uganda.
