Summer 2010

The Mototaxi Junket

Try and find a company more life-loving than this lot. The creators of the Mongol Rally and the Rickshaw Run, the Adventurists have a new journey in town and it's called the Mototaxi Junket.

Take a motorcycle and staple a sofa to it, then line a few of them up and let some people 'race' them over the Andes between Peru and Paraguay.

Dave project managed the 2010 Summer Junket, pulling together the event from bases in Cuzco, Peru and Asuncion, Paraguay. Part of the job was compiling photo and video content showing the Junket unfold as it happened.

If a mototaxi journey tickles your fancy you're in luck as the Junket happens three times a year. Scoot over to the Adventurists website and sign up for one of next year's events.
