Blue Ambassador

Dave is proud to be an Ambassador for the Blue Project, the Climate and Oceans initiative which shares Dave's belief that sport and travel are the best tools to encourage an appreciation for the environment.

It seems fairly appropriate because in the early naughties when he was sporting a long mane of red hair, his Australian friends did the usual topsy turvy thing and nicknamed him 'Blue'!

Dave shares Blue's message of engagement and participation during his expeditions, and through the Blue Mile, Blue's 'mile travelled on or by the water' scheme, Dave's distance journeys are especially relevant.
